Why Use Aservus to Convert HTML to PDF?

Accurate rendering, flexible settings, and full privacy — built for developers, writers, and businesses

Full CSS Rendering

The server-side rendering engine applies your full stylesheet before generating the PDF — web fonts, flexbox layouts, grid, and custom properties are all preserved exactly as they appear in a browser.

URL or File Input

Paste any public webpage URL for instant capture, or upload a local HTML or HTM file directly from your computer or cloud storage. Both modes produce identical quality output.

Smart Page Breaks

The converter automatically handles page breaks to avoid splitting paragraphs, images, or table rows mid-content, producing professional multi-page PDFs without manual formatting.

Secure & Private

All conversions run in isolated server containers that are destroyed immediately after your PDF is ready. No HTML content, URLs, or files are stored, logged, or retained.

Dynamic Content Capture

The engine waits for JavaScript-rendered content, lazy-loaded images, and asynchronous API calls to complete before capturing — so dynamic web apps are captured in their fully-loaded state.

Cloud File Import

Import HTML files directly from Google Drive or Dropbox without downloading them locally first. Saves time when your files are already stored in the cloud.

How to Convert HTML to PDF

Choose Your Source

Enter a public webpage URL in the URL tab, or switch to the File Upload tab and select a local HTML or HTM file. You can also import directly from Google Drive or Dropbox.

Configure Your PDF

Choose your page size (A4, Letter, or Legal), orientation (portrait or landscape), and whether to include background images. The defaults work well for most webpages.

Convert and Download

Click "Convert to PDF" and the page renders server-side with full CSS support. Your PDF downloads automatically when it's ready — no email or account needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this HTML to PDF converter free?

Yes, completely free. There are no watermarks added to your PDF, no file or page limits, and no account required. You can convert as many webpages or HTML files as you need without paying anything.

What file formats and sources are supported?

You can either enter a public webpage URL (starting with https://) or upload a local HTML (.html), HTM (.htm), or plain text (.txt) file. Files can also be imported directly from Google Drive or Dropbox without downloading them to your device first.

Will the PDF look exactly like the webpage?

The converter renders the page using a real browser engine, so CSS stylesheets, web fonts, flexbox and grid layouts, and JavaScript-rendered content are all applied before the PDF is generated. Very complex single-page applications may occasionally differ slightly from what you see in your own browser, depending on the rendering environment.

Can I convert password-protected or login-required pages?

No. For security reasons, the converter can only access publicly available URLs. To convert a private or login-protected page, open it in your browser, use File > Save As to save it as an HTML file, and then upload that file using the File Upload tab.

Are my files and URLs kept private?

Yes. HTML to PDF conversion runs on a server because a real browser engine is needed for accurate CSS rendering. However, all conversion jobs run in isolated containers that are completely wiped after your PDF is generated. No URLs, HTML content, or converted files are stored or retained.

What page sizes and orientations are available?

The tool supports A4 (standard international), Letter (US standard), and Legal page sizes. Both portrait and landscape orientations are available for all three sizes. You can also choose whether to include background images and background colours in the PDF output.

How does this compare to printing a webpage to PDF in Chrome?

Chrome's built-in print-to-PDF often strips backgrounds, truncates content at page edges, and produces inconsistent results across different operating systems. The Aservus HTML to PDF converter uses a dedicated server-side rendering engine tuned specifically for PDF output, which produces more consistent page sizing, better background rendering, cleaner page breaks, and accurate multi-page layout.
