Does the PDF to Excel converter handle scanned PDFs?
The converter works best with text-based PDFs where table data is embedded as actual text. Scanned image-only PDFs require OCR (optical character recognition), which is not currently supported in the free version.
Will Excel formulas be preserved in the conversion?
No. The converter extracts the values from the PDF tables as they appear. It cannot reconstruct the original Excel formulas used to produce those values before the PDF was created — only the resulting numbers are extractable.
