Frequently Asked Questions
Is this YouTube analytics tool free to use?
Yes — the Aservus YouTube Analytics Tracker is completely free with no registration, no account, and no usage limits. Enter any public YouTube channel handle, URL, or channel ID and get a full analytics report instantly. There are no hidden fees or premium tiers.
How accurate is the subscriber count and view data?
All data is fetched live from the official YouTube Data API v3, the same source YouTube itself uses. Subscriber counts, view counts, and video counts reflect real-time values. Note that YouTube publicly rounds subscriber counts above 1,000 to the nearest thousand — this is a YouTube policy that applies to all third-party tools, not a limitation of our tracker.
How is the estimated YouTube revenue calculated?
Revenue is estimated using an industry-standard RPM (Revenue Per Mille) range of $0.50 to $4.00 per 1,000 views, applied to the channel's total view count. This produces a realistic low and high estimate range. Actual earnings vary significantly by content niche, audience country, video format, and advertiser demand — the estimates are for benchmarking purposes only.
Can I look up any YouTube channel?
You can analyze any public YouTube channel. The tool accepts @handles (e.g. @MrBeast), full YouTube channel URLs, plain usernames, and direct channel IDs starting with UC. Private channels and channels that have hidden their subscriber count will return partial data — hidden subscriber counts are displayed as "Hidden" to reflect exactly what the YouTube API reports.
Why does the tool show "Hidden" for subscriber count?
Some YouTube creators choose to hide their subscriber count in their YouTube Studio settings. When this is enabled, the YouTube Data API returns a hiddenSubscriberCount: true flag and does not provide the number. This is a YouTube privacy feature that cannot be bypassed by any tool — not by Aservus or any other analytics platform.
Does this tool store or track the channels I search?
No. Channel lookups go directly from your browser to the YouTube Data API. Aservus does not log, store, or track which channels you search. Your search history is completely private and is not recorded on our servers.
